Description
The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA - a water-based preparation with alpha-hydroxy acid, i.e. lactic acid, which effectively exfoliates the skin's surface, cleanses and deeply moisturizes. Exfoliation is also facilitated by purified Tasmanian pepper extract, which has a proven effect of reducing irritation and hypersensitivity, which can be associated with the use of acids. Moisturizing effect is supported by hyaluronic acid, which also increases skin elasticity. The pH value of the product is approximately 3.8. Lactic acid has a pKa value of 3.8 - the most important parameter in the development of acid products. The pKa value determines the strength of the acid.
A more delicate formula of this peeling with lactic acid 5% is available here.
Active ingredients:
hyaluronic acid - responsible for moisturizing the skin,
lactic acid - moisturizes, has antibacterial and anti-aging properties, acts as a pH regulator.
How to use: Apply once a day, preferably in the evening. Apply a small amount to cleansed, dry face, neck and décolleté. Do not rinse. Do not use multiple acid products at the same time. The peel can be diluted with other products to reduce the intensity of the effect until the skin's tolerance to acids increases. Avoid contact with eyes. If persistent irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor. This product contains alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA), which may increase the skin's sensitivity to sunlight and, in particular, the likelihood of sunburn. Use sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for one week after use.
